UoM AR app for iPhone and iPad

* Please bear in mind that UoM AR works best when you are in Manchester, especially when you are on Oxford Road or the University of Manchester campus.
* You need a device compatible with ARKit. This means that iPhone 6 or older devices cannot run UoM AR.


UoM AR is an augmented reality iOS app that helps students discover the campus and more!

This app intelligently uses the camera and your phone GPS to display panels above certain buildings that might be of interest for students. Whether you are new at the university or simply want to explore more of it, this app is a very good navigation companion. And it has never been so interesting finding places! Just point the phone and discover buildings, offices, restaurants, supermarkets and more! You can tap on them, navigate to them, read more about them and obviously travel to them.

If paper maps were used by the freshers before you (and are still used by some courageous ones too), UoM AR is the future of maps and student guides!
